Field Service Engineer
South-East France (m/f/d)

 

The Field Service Engineer provides technical support to customers, including installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution and maintenance.

 

The Field Service Engineer is expected to


• Provide support including but not limited to; installation, upgrades, demonstrations, evaluations, basic operator training, troubleshooting, hotline support, problem solving and maintenance of products and services by documenting; following-up and trace calls according with Tosoh quality system procedures.
• Deliver remote (e.g., telephone, online) technical troubleshooting and support services to ensure that all products and services function properly.
• Ensure the latest modifications and mandatory updates are carried out.
• Ensure all preventive maintenances are performed in a timely manner and efficient way.
• Compare test results with specifications and standards; record test results and data.
• Partner cross-functionally and internally while maintaining positive relationships and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
• Report activity using support tools software.
• Proactively improve expertise through continuous learning.
• Provide first level application support.
• Manage and maintain correct accounting and usage of own spare parts – car stock.
• Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics, the Quality Management System, the Company Policies and the Corporate Procedures.

 

Requirements


• Bachelor Degree in Technology, Engineering or Electronics
• Passion for IT is a plus
• Experience in an IVD environment is an asset
• Strong analytical & problem solving skills
• You have excellent knowledge of French (mother tongue level)
• Fluent in English (spoken)
• Located in the South-East of France
